The Minolta readers/printers/scanners are available for reading, printing, and scanning filmed images from microfilm and microfiche. Self-service printing is available from dedicated printers. Film images can be printed on 2 sizes of paper: 8 1/2" x 11" or 11" x 17". The Minolta readers come equipped with multiple zoom lenses from 7x, 9-16x, 13-27x & 23-50x. Filmed images can be scanned to PDF files in Adobe Acrobat which can be written to CDs or saved to the Princeton central file server ("H" drive) for users with a valid Princeton netid. ScanPro 1000
The ScanPro 1000 reader/printer/scanner is available for reading, printing and scanning microfilm, microfiche, microcards and micro-opaques. It can scan filmed images to PDF files, TIFF files, and JPEG files. It can also enhance filmed images that are too dark or too light, so that printed or scanned images are more legible. Scanned files can be written to CD's or saved to the Princeton central file server ("H" drive) for users with a valid Princeton netid.
